CATEGORY Products are items considered as official merchandise of current and upcoming major shows. These are ticketed shows held in recognized performance venues. Only major shows will have the following:
Its own Category on FanatixShop's website menu.
It will be featured accordingly on the website's Homepage
Its own dedicated Category Product Page.
GUIDELINES IN ORGANIZING YOUR CATEGORY PRODUCTS PRIOR TO WEB UPLOAD
Prepare your Category Name, this should be the title of your show.
Please follow this format: [Artist/ Band/ Performers' name in ALL CAPS] [Title of show/tour]
Examples:
COLDPLAY "Music of the Spheres" World Tour
Wicked
Miss Saigon
BRUNO MARS World Tour
SAM SMITH "Gloria" The Tour
You can make Category requests via your shop dashboard so that it can be created in the system . Your Category name will be included on the site's main menu (See FIGURE A for site map reference, FIGURE B for frontend reference). The "Shows/Tour Merch" root category is where all merchandise of current and upcoming shows are linked. Merch of past shows will fall under "Past Shows" and general merchandise will be under "General" root categories respectively.

Prepare your Category Banner image. Below are the image sizes (in pixels) and the required file format:
2000 x 500 pixels (JPG)
640 x 360 pixels (JPG)
1024 x 360 pixels (JPG)
Prepare your merchandise and encode the details of each item on the PRODUCTS LIST FORM. We will send you the link to your online Products List Form.
We will create your Product Identifier code. This is the unique product code that FanatixShop will use as reference for your merch items. Please follow the code sequence accordingly.
Go to STEP 3 (Products List Form) in the Pre-Setup Guide to review the steps in encoding your products on the form.
Prepare product image/s for each of your item.
SIZE: Square | 2000 x 2000 pixels (JPG)
VISUAL GUIDELINES:
4.1 Choose a White background whenever possible.
A White, distraction-free background will highlight your product and make it easier for buyers to appreciate your merchandise.
4.2 You may also opt for a plain-colored background, or lightly patterned background to add flair to your product image. Just make sure it does not distract or take the buyer's focus away from your merchandise.
4.3. Show all possible product configurations (Product Options)
If your merchandise come in various colors or types, provide an image for each option.
If you have size options, provide a size chart or measurement guide.
4.4 Make sure your images are sharp and clear.
Prepare product description for each of your item.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION GUIDELINES:
Creating an effective product description for show merchandise involves capturing the essence of the experience, highlighting the product's features, and making the item appealing to potential buyers.
Here's a format that you can use:
Product Title
[Artist/Performer/Band Name] [Tour/Concert/Show Name] [Year] [Product Type]
Product Description
Overview
Start with a captivating opening that connects the product to the experience.
Example: "Celebrate the unforgettable night with this [Artist/Band Name] [Tour/Concert/Show Name] [Year] [Product Type]. This exclusive merchandise captures the spirit of the live performance and allows you to carry a piece of the magic with you."
Features
List the key features of the product, focusing on the design and any unique aspects.
Example: "Exclusive design featuring the [Tour/Concert/Show Name] logo and unique artwork. Limited Edition official merchandise, available for a limited time only, making it a must-have collector's item.
Call to Action
End with a strong call to action that encourages people to make a purchase.
Example: "Don't miss out on this exclusive piece of [Artist/Band/Show Name] history. Order your [Product Type] today and relive the magic of the [Tour/Concert/Show Name]!"
Using this format ensures that your product descriptions are informative, engaging, and optimized for sales, for fans and regular audience alike!
NOTE: Once the show has been concluded, your show Category will be removed from the website's main menu, as well as your Category Page and Homepage feature. Should you have any leftover/unsold merchandise, these will now fall under the "Past Shows" sub-categories where past show merchandise are sold . Your Shop Collection of the show will still remain on your shop's homepage.
